10th August 2007: Week 15 of the Brooks Cycles Track League, Newcastle, Staffs saw Kenny Atheron of Lyme RC move clear at
the top of the B Class Table. Atherton claimed victory in both the B Class Devil and 10 Mile Scratch events and consequently extended his lead at

12th August 2007: Once again the
Danish CSC team proved what an excellent squad it is in team time trials.
Saturday CSC won the 42.2-kilometer long second stage of the Deutschland Tour
25 seconds ahead of Discovery Channel in second place

Golden Worlds for GB Juniors

9th August 2007: Despite only traveling
to Aguascalientes
with four riders, the British Junior Track Squad have returned home with seven
medals. Chris Lyte was
the star of the championships, part of the victorious Team Sprint squad with
Dave Daniell and Pete Mitchell, he then went on to claim an emphatic victory in
the Keirin ahead of Daniell who took the silver medal

Povey's Double Delight:
There were three regular riders absent from the start-line with excellent excuses
this week. Firstly, Pete Mitchell, who just three days earlier had won the
world junior team sprint championship in Mexico with GB team-mates Dave Daniell
and Chris Lyte. Not content with a gold medal, Pete had followed up with a
brilliant bronze in the sprint
